“Very welcoming”
Reviewed 25 March 2014 (Sue K, Gloucester, United Kingdom)
We stayed here after over 24 hours of traveling from the UK and it was everything we could have wished for; quiet, clean, spacious, well decorated, with a big comfortable bed with plenty of choice of weights of bedding, (very considerate when you don't really know whether you will be hot or cold), a good shower, plenty of surfaces to put things on, real milk in the fridge, easy to find from the airport, wifi, shady places to sit outside. Malcolm suggested where we might shop and eat and gave us maps and advice. He remembered us when we returned for the last night of our NZ stay 6 weeks later. We recommend the motel highly.
“Clean and adequate”

We were only here for a very short night before our flight the next morning. It was easy to find from the airport and not too far from the downtown area. The staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants and fuel stations. The room was clean and adequate for our short stay.
“Highly reccomended”

Our family stayed here at the beginning of our holiday. It was a perfect choice - clean, quiet and comfortable, a well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. Malcolm and Linda were incredibly helpful after we discovered we had left our computer tablet behind. It was no trouble for them: they packed it carefully and shipped it to our next accommodation. It arrived safely. We are very grateful to them for taking such good care of us.
“Great location, friendly staff and clean facilities”

On arrival and booking in, we were greeted by Malcolm who was friendly and informative about the local area. The unit was very clean, and serviced daily during our stay which was excellent. Very comfortable, good location and quiet. Overall a pleasant experience. Will stay again when in Christchurch.
“Great motel on the edge of Christchurch downtown”

A very clean, spacious room with separate bedroom, kitchenette and living room located about a 20 minute walk from the city centre and 2 blocks from grocery store and restaurants. It took us longer to drive to the city centre because of the construction mess on the roads and buildings in the aftermath of the 2011 earthquake. Comfortable bed in a relatively quiet area. Will return to this motel if we come back to Christchurch
